Inner Wheel

The Inner Wheel Club normally meet on the third Wednesday of each month, in the evening. We are always willing to welcome interested visitors.

Our main charity for this year in support of Toni Simpson our President is called The Eve Appeal, supporting gynaecological cancers

We have a varied programme for our meetings and, as well as business meetings, invite representatives to talk to us about their charities. We arrange social occasions, dining out and have the opportunity to visit other clubs.

We work closely with the Rotary Club, particularly supporting its members with events such as the Christmas Sleigh and the Swimarathon, raising monies for our own supported charities. With regards to those to be supported for 2025 - 2026 these will be confirmed in the near future.

In addition to Rotary Club linked events, we hold our own events raising monies through holding an annual Arts and Craft Fair and supporting the town's Christmas Fayre in November.  Monies raised are used for the benefit of the principal charities listed above as well as other charities and disaster relief funds throughout the year. 

In addition to The Marble Project we have strong links with international charities through our District Inner Wheel partners which we support throughout the year by offering various things such as buttons, blankets undergarments etc.
