William De Ferrers Pupils Speak Out To Win Competition
William De Ferrers School entered 2 teams in the Combined Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers Rotaryu Clubs “Youth Speaking Competition”.
This is the third Year that the school has entered teams and the they have carried individual first places in all of the years but last year & this year they won the overall winners trophy
Pictured below are the winning “A” team receiving the trophy from Wickford Rotary Club President Norman Hollingsworth, the team pictured left to right are Stephanie Hedges, Sarah Hedges & Megan Crisp
The pupils thought that this was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate how well these young people can express themselves on a number of subjects.
There were some 10 teams and all were well supported by parents & families at the event held at the Chichester Hotel.
