The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers was formed in 1982. The founder President was Bob Palmer. The club currently enjoys a membership of 38 and meets at the Three Rivers G&CC, Cold Norton, Essex at 7.30pm for 8pm each Tuesday (except following a public holiday). South Woodham Ferrers is a new country town in south-east Essex with a population of 17,500. The town is sited between two tidal creeks to the east and west and the River Crouch to the south. South Woodham Ferrers is noted for its architecture which is an attempt to construct modern buildings in the Essex vernacular.

South Woodham Ferrers is situated on a main railway line from Liverpool Street and can be reached in about 1 hour. So if you are staying in London and wish to visit with us, please drop us an E-Mail advising what time you will be arriving at Woodham Ferrers station and we will be delighted to arrange to collect you and introduce to our club. Or if you would just like a map to our club meeting place. Map
